Computer aided Design (CAD)

Our practice embraces innovative clinical tools and techniques. The use of non contact digital imaging allows us to quickly, and efficiently manage unusual clinical cases. Custom protective face masks and burn masks allow us to provide a means of accurate modeling, without having to provide discomfort through direct plaster casting techniques. Cranial re-molding helmets for your child is easily captured with the child cradled in your arms, a knit cap and reflective markers are easily applied, no messy plaster required.

Cranial/Facial Cad imaging                                   Complex Prosthetic  CAD Imaging

Note the detail of the images, highly complex shapes are accurately captured for optimal conversion to mold and models that are the foundation of the prosthetic socket interface. We believe accuracy is the foundation for a comfortable prosthetic/orthotic outcome

Sometimes Plaster is not the best method !
